Zoe Bashforth

Director – Quantity Surveyor

Zoë has over 18 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, having worked in New Zealand since 2013 and, prior to that, in the United Kingdom.

Having worked on large-scale projects throughout New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Zoë has built up a wealth of international knowledge that can be transferred across projects. Zoë has gained an excellent understanding of clients’ needs and risks in order to support their business objectives.  She has a proven track record of delivering projects within budget.

Zoë started her career as a Quantity Surveyor working for Owen Williams Railways where she was responsible for managed actual cost contracts with Network Rail for Structural Assessments and Structural Examinations projects.  More recently, Zoë has experience in both infrastructure projects, including Waikato water projects, Paerata Rise subdivision, SH16 Lincoln to Royal Road and City Rail Link, and vertical construction projects, including Massey University School of Veterinary Science and the refurbishment of the Intercontinental in Wellington.

Zoë takes an active role in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), acting as an assessor for candidates undergoing their Assessment of Professional Competence.
