Stuart started work in 1994 in Harare Zimbabwe, moved to South Africa in 1996 and took up employment in a professional quantity surveying practice in Cape Town. Initially working on Industrial warehousing and distribution centres then concentrated on high end residential apartments.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Cape Town and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
His specialty sectors include retail, office developments, fit-outs, hotels, tertiary, industrial, residential and heritage.
Since starting at WT in 2016, Stuart's recent experience includes a range of residential and mixed-use developments from inception through to completion, estimates and cost planning of numerous projects from single dwellings to residential towers, bank funding reports and monthly monitoring as Financier's Quantity Surveyor for multi-level and tower residential developments, construction monitoring, construction cost management and final account settlements.
