Pete has built a reputation for the successful delivery of construction cost management services with a focus on ‘best for project outcomes’ that maximise the benefits and opportunities for his clients.
A highly experienced cost manager with over 30 years’ experience working in the UK and New Zealand, Pete has successfully delivered a number of politically sensitive and high- profile construction projects in New Zealand.
As a specialist cost planner working across both the public and private sectors, Pete has delivered projects across a wide range of construction sectors including commercial, retail, residential, sporting facilities, education, aviation and large-scale masterplanning such as the Christchurch Blueprint post-Earthquake Rebuild.
Notably, Pete was the Principal Cost Planner and Project Director on the Eden Park Redevelopment project for the2011 Rugby World Cup and the AMI Stadium which was built in 100 days post the Christchurch Earthquake.
Pete was also engaged as the Cost Consultant as part of the Christchurch Stadium Trust Multi Use Arena Pre-Feasibility Study (2017) and acted for CCC and the DPMC in 2019 in updating the information for presentation of the options available to CCC and the government. Since 2019, Pete has peer reviewed the ongoing stadium feasibility work undertaken by the WT Christchurch Team.
