Julian commenced his quantity surveying career in South Africa in 2011. The early stages of his career were predominately focused within the infrastructure and industrial sectors, with a later focus on large scale residential developments.
Prior to relocating to New Zealand in 2020, Julian was the Commercial Manager for a fast-growing property developer. In this role, Julian played an integral part to the commercial success of several developments for the developer.
Julian’s current role as an Associate Quantity Surveyor has seen him oversee and lead several complex and challenging commercial developments from inception to completion. His collaborative approach and focus on driving improved value throughout the development process has resulted in improved outcomes for his clients.
Julian is experienced in all facets of quantity surveying and commercial management, with a strong technical ability, and in-depth working knowledge of NZS forms of contract. He has an ability to quickly understand and disseminate information to enable him to provide outcome orientated solutions. Along with his technical abilities, Julian’s excellent communication and people skills are a great asset to any project team.
